Tulsa, OK – The Tulsa Sheriff's office will be patrolling the Tulsa State Fair again this year. The city annexed the fairgrounds earlier this year, but is declining to provide patrols for the fair without a fee.

The city has contended all along that it only annexed the fairground into the city-limits. Tulsa County still owns the fairgrounds. The Tulsa State Fair is a Tulsa County production and it is responsible for fair grounds security.

The Tulsa State Fair starts October 1st.
