Fort Supply, OKL – Inmate escapes northwest Oklahoma state prison

FORT SUPPLY, Okla. (AP) Authorities say an inmate has escaped the William Key Correctional Center in Fort Supply.

The Department of Corrections says 50-year-old Michael Weber disappeared sometime after a head count at 9 p.m. Friday.

Weber was serving a five-year term for possession of a stolen vehicle in Okmulgee County. He was due for release in August 2013.

The prison in northwestern Oklahoma is a minimum security prison.
