Tulsa, OK – Limco to keep Tulsa plant open
TULSA, Okla. (AP) The parent company of Limco Airepair is dropping plans to move its Tulsa plant's operations and 150 jobs to North Carolina.
Company executives said Wednesday the Tulsa plant will remain in operation instead of being consolidated into a sister company's plant in Kernersville, N.C.
Limco co-Chief Executive Officer Robert Koch says the board of directors of parent company TAT Technologies Ltd. of Israel made the decision. He says the reaction of customers and higher-than-anticipated costs led to the change of plans.
Limco manufactures and overhauls aerospace components for the commercial, military and general aviation markets.
