OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Democrats and Republicans in Oklahoma will be making their choices for nominees in various primary runoff elections.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. across the state for Tuesday's runoff.
In Tulsa County, a new district attorney will be selected. No Democrat filed for the office, so the winner of today's GOP run-off will win the seat.
The top races are runoffs in both parties for the nomination to a congressional seat from central Oklahoma. Two-term Rep. James Lankford gave up the seat this year and won the Republican nomination in a special U.S. Senate election.
Democrats will also pick a nominee to the Senate to run against Lankford in the fall.
The only statewide runoff races are in the Democratic Party in the U.S. Senate race and for the nomination for state schools superintendent.
