International Students Converge on Oklahoma Capitol

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Hundreds of Oklahoma's international high school and college students are expected to converge on the state Capitol for International Student Awareness Day — a day-long look at state government.

Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb and House Speaker T. W. Shannon are scheduled to speak at Monday's event.

International Day Chair Rep. Lee Denney says 500 college students and high school juniors and seniors attended last year.

Denney says this year's event also will include entertainment and local and international food.
