Tulsa, OK – Texas governor in Oklahoma, to appear with Inhofe
TULSA, Okla. (AP) U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe will join Texas Gov. Rick Perry for an announcement in Tulsa.
Perry recently announced his candidacy for the Republican presidential nomination. Inhofe said last week that he supports Perry's campaign for the GOP nomination.
The two Republicans have scheduled a news conference for 2 p.m. Monday in Tulsa. Perry also is planning to attend fundraisers in Oklahoma during the day.
Gov. Mary Fallin says she's spoken with Perry but isn't ready to endorse a candidate. Fallin told the Tulsa World that Perry telephoned her last week to tell her that he would be visiting Oklahoma.
