Tulsa, Ok – Guns stolen from home of Tulsa police officer

TULSA, Okla. (AP) The home of Tulsa police Sgt. Mike Huff has been burglarized with guns, badges and a police uniform among the items stolen.

Huff was speaking at a conference on cold-case investigations in Florida when the burglary occurred. Authorities say the burglars kicked in the back door to get into the home Wednesday.

Huff says it appears the thieves knew he was a police officer. Other items taken include family heirlooms such as his father's dog tags, jewelry his mother had given his daughter and autographed baseballs and a red, Chevy S-10 pickup truck.

The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office is investigating and Capt. John Bowman says they have no suspects thus far.
