Hillary Clinton Plans Fundraising Stop in Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton is planning a fundraising stop early next month in Tulsa.

Oklahoma Democratic Party Chairman Mark Hammons said Friday that Clinton will attend a fundraiser on Dec. 11 at the home of Tulsa philanthropists George and Cookie Kaiser.

Hammons says discussions are underway with the Clinton campaign to have the former secretary of state attend a public event in Tulsa, but nothing has been confirmed.

Vice President Joe Biden visited Tulsa last week for a private fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee.

According to Federal Election Commission records, Clinton has raised about $141,000 in Oklahoma in her bid for the Democratic nomination. Republican contender Jeb Bush has raised the most in Oklahoma, with $195,000, followed by Ben Carson at $177,000 and Ted Cruz with $160,000.
