Isolated thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon across parts of northwest Arkansas and far eastern Oklahoma. Severe weather is not expected. Heat index values will climb to near 100 degrees across parts of northeast Oklahoma this afternoon. A weak cold front will move south into the area early next week bringing an increasing chance for showers and thunderstorms.
