TULSA, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Writers Hall of Fame has announced plans to honor singer and songwriter Woody Guthrie and writer Anna Myers.

Guthrie will be honored with a memorial tribute by his daughter, Nora Guthrie, and by bestselling author Michael Wallis.

Myers will be inducted into the Oklahoma Writers Hall of Fame. She earned the Oklahoma Book Award for Red Dirt Jessie, Graveyard Girl, Assassin and Spy. She recently received the Arrell Gibson Lifetime Achievement Award, the highest honor presented by the Oklahoma Center for the Book.

The two will be honored on Nov. 7 at the Oklahoma State University-Tulsa Auditorium.
