Greenheck Group to Build Tulsa Manufacturing Facility

Greenheck Group, a Wisconsin-based manufacturer of air movement, control and conditioning equipment, announced today it will build a new campus in Tulsa. The company plans to break ground later this year and be operational at its first of two facilities by the summer of 2018. Initially, the northeast Tulsa campus will include manufacturing operations and distribution for Greenheck Group’s Accurex brand of commercial kitchen ventilation systems and its Greenheck Tempered Air Products  line.

“Tulsa is the ideal location for our new Greenheck Group campus,” said Jim McIntyre, CEO of Greenheck Group. “The central location, the robust and growing business sector, and ready access to a smart, talented workforce were all key factors in our decision. In addition, we were impressed by the strong leadership and collaboration between the City of Tulsa, the Tulsa Regional Chamber, the Cherokee Nation, the State of Oklahoma, and the local technical colleges. We are looking forward to breaking ground, opening our doors, and becoming part of the Tulsa community.”

Initial plans call for the hiring of approximately 75 employees during the first year of operations, with Greenheck Group significantly growing its Tulsa-area presence in the coming years. The Accurex facility will be the first to open next summer, followed closely by the TAP facility in the fall of 2018. The company envisions that additional facilities to support other Greenheck Group brands and product lines will establish a Tulsa presence as growth needs dictate.

“We’re thrilled that Greenheck Group sees potential for future growth in the Tulsa region,” said Mike Neal, president and CEO of the Tulsa Regional Chamber. “Greenheck is an exemplary corporate citizen, and their commitment to their employees — evidenced by extremely low turnover rates — is unparalleled. We look forward to continue helping Greenheck Group establish itself in the Tulsa community.”
