TULSA, Okla. (AP) — The former Tulsa County undersheriff who ordered a report that revealed concerns about the training of a volunteer deputy now charged in the fatal shooting of an unarmed man has arrived to testify before a grand jury investigating Sheriff Stanley Glanz. Former Undersheriff Brian Edwards declined comment when he arrived Friday at the Tulsa courthouse.
The grand jury is investigating whether Glanz neglected his duties and whether reserve deputies who gave gifts to the agency were given special treatment.
