Following the Bouncing Gas Gauge

KWGS News

Gasoline prices in the Tulsa Metro are bouncing all over the place. However, for the most part the price for a gallon of regular self-serve unleaded is remaining below three dollars a gallon.

Prices started out the day at $2.68 in the Owasso area. But, shortly after the morning rush the price jumped. Many stations raised their price to $2.84.

The Oklahoma AAA's Daniel Karnes says the fluctuation is being driven by simply economics. He says it is a supply and demand issue. While prices are up from yesterday, we are still below three dollars.
