Ex-Mother-in-Law Arrested in 1992 Oklahoma Deaths

SAPULPA, Okla. (AP) — An Oklahoma woman has been arrested in the 1992 deaths of her former daughter-in-law and two others whose bodies were found at the bottom of a septic pit last summer.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said Beverly Noe of Bristow was picked up Friday.

The 67-year-old told The Associated Press in an interview last year that Wendy Camp had been "hateful and snotty" with her during a trip to Oklahoma City and that she dropped Camp and the others off at a Chandler Wal-Mart. They were never heard from again.

Investigators say Noe's brother Grover Prewitt led them to a hole he dug and filled in on the order so his mother, Ida Prewitt, who died several years ago. Grover Prewitt was charged as an accessory after the fact.
