Miami, OK – MIAMI, Okla. (AP) State drug agents have arrested 43 people in northeastern Oklahoma following an undercover investigation.

Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control spokesman Mark Woodward said Tuesday the investigation in May and June led to drug buys from 71 people in the Miami, Jay and Grove areas.

He says there are warrants for the arrest of all 71.

Woodward says undercover agents bought methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana and prescription drugs during the investigation.

He says it's common in drug sweeps to arrest just more than half the suspects and the many of the others likely will surrender during following days.
