Discussion Set on Future of Tulsa Schools

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Community leaders are set to discuss if current demographic and policy trends in the region are leading to the re-segregation of Tulsa's public school system.

Thursday's panel discussion at the Rudisill Regional Library will feature comments from several community leaders.

Local leaders will discuss whether Tulsa is meeting the spirit of the landmark Brown vs. Board of Education U.S. Supreme Court ruling that ended racial segregation of public schools. This year marks the ruling's 60th anniversary.
