Tulsa, OK – Dollar Thrifty 2Q profit up on lower expenses
TULSA, Okla. (AP) Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group's second-quarter net income edged slightly higher, helped by lower expenses.
The Tulsa car Dollar Thrifty says its quarterly profit rose to $42.5 million, or $1.36 per share. That's up from $42.3 million, or $1.40 per share.
Per share earnings fell because there were more shares outstanding in the current quarter.
Excluding one-time items, earnings rose to $1.35 per share from $1.26 per share. Analysts polled by FactSet expected earnings of $1.37 per share.
Revenue slipped to $395.1 million from $396.2 million.
