OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz is planning to visit Oklahoma this weekend for a fundraiser for the Oklahoma Republican Party.
The U.S. senator from Texas will deliver a speech at a luncheon Saturday at the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City.
Cruz was scheduled to headline a fundraising gala for the state party during the Southern Republican Leadership Conference in Oklahoma City last month, but was unable to attend because of a key vote that day on a trade bill in Washington.
Tickets to the luncheon are $50 per person. Participants can also pay $1,000 to sit down with Cruz for a round-table discussion before the luncheon.
