Crutcher Attorneys Dispute Police Claims

KWGS News

There are new developments in the Tulsa Police shooting death of 40-year-old Terence Crutcher, an unarmed Black man.

  • Tulsa Police say PCP was found in Crutcher's car.
  • The Crutcher Family Attorney says it would have been impossible for Crutcher to have been reaching into his car window when he was fatally shot.

Famed Civil Right's Attorney Benjamin Crump met with reporters on a hot court house plaza. He showed enhance photos from the Tulsa Police Helicopter showing the car window rolled-up at the time of the shooting. The photo shows blood on the car window and Terence Crutcher on the ground with his hands above his head.
Meanwhile, authorities say PCB was found in Crutcher's car. It is unknown if it was in his system. That determination will be up to the Medical Examiner. When asked about the PCP at the news conference, Crump says if that is true, you still can't go around shooting people who have drugs.
