City Holding 3 Meetings to Get Feedback on HUD

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — The city of Tulsa is holding three meetings next week to get community feedback on priorities that will be used to set the city's five-year U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development plan.

The meetings are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday where city officials will present information on continuing and emerging needs in Tulsa, including poverty, education, homelessness, transportation and housing.

Citizens will then be asked to prioritize their needs and their potential goals to address these issues.

A five-year plan will be finalized by outlining community needs, resources, priorities and proposed activities — then sent to HUD for approval.
