TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Tulsa's mayor and city councilors have planned five summer meetings throughout the city to inform residents about the current budget, public safety and the Arkansas River.

The meetings are June 30, July 7, July 8, July 28 and Aug. 4.

Speakers include Mayor Dewey Bartlett Jr. and city councilors. Bartlett plans to provide an overview of the recent city budget process and city budgeting for the future. Councilors are expected to present findings of the River Infrastructure Task Force.

Information also will be available at the meetings about the Improve Our Tulsa projects and schedules.

All meetings begin at 6 p.m.
