Tulsa, OK – More Oklahoma children than ever before are living in poverty.
The latest statistics from Kids Count show a 16 percent increase in the number of Oklahoma children living in poverty. The director of Tulsa's Parent-Child Center, Desiree Doherty, says more must be done to care for the state's youngest and most vulnerable

While showing slight improvement in some areas, Oklahoma remains one of the worst states in the country for child well-being.
