Center of Universe Draws Big Crowd

COU-Facebook

Thousands of people packed into downtown Tulsa for the first night of the two day Center of the Universe Festival in Tulsa. More than 100-bands will play in the Brady Arts District this weekend. The gates opened at 5:30 yesterday afternoon.

The event is named after the popular downtown Tulsa landmark, the Center of the Universe, located on the Boston Avenue pedestrian bridge.

Last year's event drew more than 80,000 fans.

This year the festival will feature more than 100 bands on three outdoor stages and 10 club venues.

The festival will also feature a street market.
