Oklahoma City, OK – cammers impersonate Census workers in Okla. City
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) U.S. Census officials in Oklahoma City are warning of scammers passing out bogus forms that ask for Social Security numbers.
Census office manager Sidna Madden says six Oklahoma County residents have reported finding the forms on their doorsteps. Instructions say to fill out the forms and return them to an Oklahoma City address.
Madden says one person filled out the form and mailed it.
Madden says the U.S. Census forms do not ask for a Social Security number and anyone who gets such a form should report it to her office.
