OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for parts of northern and western Oklahoma, while counties in the Panhandle are under a freeze watch.

Forecasters say the freeze watch is in place for Beaver, Cimarron and Texas counties for the overnight hours Friday and Saturday. Forecasters say temperatures will approach the freezing mark early Saturday morning and again early Sunday.

The weather service issued a frost advisory for much of northern and central Oklahoma, including Oklahoma City, Stillwater and Ponca City.

Low temperatures are expected to dip into the low to mid-30s.
