SALINA, Okla. (AP) — Firefighters have recovered the body of a 7-year-old boy who went missing in northeast Oklahoma.

The Grand River Dam Authority Police Department says the body was found Saturday night from Lake Hudson. Authorities say the boy had been swimming in the Saline Creek arm of the lake when he went under the water but didn't resurface.

The child's identity hasn't been released.

It's unclear if anyone else was swimming with the boy. Authorities haven't released additional information.
