14-year-old Dario Hogan was last seen playing near a rain swollen creek in North Tulsa. Officials say the teen was swept away by the quick rising water of Coal Creek. The creek is located in an area near the Dawson Park ball fields, not far from the intersection of Pine and North Yale.
A news crew from KOTV found the boy's body about ten Sunday morning.
A friend with Hogan was rescued. crews searched for the boy till almost midnight Saturday evening and resumed the search at daybreak Sunday.
The water in the creek was very swift. Tulsa was under a Flash Flood and Severe Thunderstorm Warning at the time.
