Bodies are Believed to be 3 Missing Since 1992

KWGS News

SAPULPA, Okla. (AP) — Investigators say three bodies unearthed near Jennings last month are likely those of two women and a girl missing since 1992 — but that DNA testing will be necessary to know for sure.

Police also said at a news conference Thursday in Sapulpa that an arrest in the case could be made soon.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said that clothing found with the skeletal remains suggest that the bodies found were those of 23-year-old Wendy Camp, her 6-year-old daughter Cynthia Britto and 22-year-old Lisa Kregear, who was Camp's sister-in-law.

The three were traveling to Shamrock on May 29, 1992, when they went missing. Based on tips, investigators found bodies near Jennings last month.

OSBI agents believe several people could have had a hand in the deaths.
