Tulsa, Oklahoma – Warning that it's the first step toward school vouchers for all students, Broken Arrow and Jenks school boards announced Monday they will ignore a state law.
The law requires public school districts to provide scholarships for special education students to attend private schools.
State Superintendent Sandy Garrett blasted the districts, saying "thumbing your nose at state law is a poor civics lesson for our children."
