Bad Laws Cost Oklahoma Millions in Court and in Lost Opportunity

File photo

Bad laws! Passed legislation, that even the non-legal scholar understands as unconstitutional, is costing this state millions in court. Dollars, many will tell you, we don't have to spend. Oklahoma has supplied material for late night comics and internet ridicule.

But, it is also hampering economic development in Oklahoma. Zack Stoycroft is with the Tulsa Regional Chamber where no impression is better than a bad impression. He told an interim legislative committee companies want a community that is hip, cool and diverse. It needs to be a community that can attract young talent.

He says anything short of that is the same as shooting ourselves in the foot.
