Tulsa, OK – Tulsa City Councilor Bill Christiansen will be the first to tell his trade is that of an aviator, not art critic. But, like everyone, he has an opinion. One word sums up the art work on the new sound barrier along 169- between Memorial and Mingo. That word is: "ugly".

Christiansen says his conversations with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation indicate that is a requirement and the contractor is doing the job correctly.
Christiansen has no problem with art work on the walls. His problem is with the tiles. He says the images are mix-matched.

Christiansen disagrees and asked the city council for permission to take his complaints up the food chain to state lawmakers to review the work.
