Muskogee, OK – Suspect in Muskogee shooting arrested in Arkansas
MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) Authorities say a man accused in a fatal shooting in Muskogee has been arrested in Arkansas.
Prosecutors say 34-year-old Andrew Nelson Hubbler could be extradited as soon as Monday for the Friday night shooting death of 41-year-old John Lyman of Muskogee.
Hubbler was arrested Saturday night in Franklin County, Ark. He's being held in the county jail in Ozark.
Witnesses told police that Hubbler and Lyman were arguing near the Arrowhead Mall at about 8 p.m. Friday night and that they apparently got in a car chase later on that evening. Police say Lyman was shot at about 10:30 p.m. while he was in his car.
Another man, Lemanuel London, was arrested with Hubbler. Police say he's a witness in the case.
