The U.S. Geological Survey says a 3.5 magnitude earthquake has shaken parts of Oklahoma.
Geologists say the earthquake was recorded at 3:27 p.m. Monday about eight miles north-northwest of Pawnee in Pawnee County. It was recorded at a depth of about three miles.
Earlier Monday, a 2.6 magnitude quake was recorded at 10:44 a.m. 20 miles northwest of Fairview in Major County. It was recorded at a depth of about six miles.
No damage or injuries was reported following the temblors. Geologists say earthquakes of magnitude 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest felt by humans and damage is not likely in quakes below magnitude 4.0.
