Tulsa City and County are filing for a joint application to hire four civilian crime analysts. The amount totals 665-thousand dollars. The City would get 627-thousand of that. The grant is from the U-S Department of Justice---in the form of a Justice Assistance Grant.
The grant appears on tomorrow morning's eight o'clock City Council agenda.
Oklahoma City, OK – OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) An Oklahoma City state representative now under investigation by the Oklahoma County District Attorney's office says he'll drop his bid for an open state Senate seat. Republican Rep. Mike Christian told The Oklahoman he won't run for the Senate seat because he must now focus his efforts on defending himself. Christian says he'll instead run for re-election to his current post.
