Mark your calendars for Saturday night, December 20, 2025, when the “Hornet Hive” Holiday Christmas Party will kick off at the Greenwood Cultural Center. The festivities begin at 7:30pm and will conclude at 12 midnight. We invite every BTW Hornet to come out and enjoy a fun evening with D J Soul, who will “rock da house” with “Boots on the Ground,” Frankie Beverly, Bruno Mars, Marvin Gaye, GAP Band, et al.
We also extend the invite to the general public to join with us for a thrilling evening, that will also feature Las Vegas entertainer, BIG RIC, who is from Tulsa and a former multiple Tulsa World Spot Award Winner and a BTW grad Class 1991. He will fly in to perform and close the evening with the Donny Hathaway Christmas classic, “This Christmas.” It will be an exciting evening of big fun, house music, “bring those Fans,” whether you are a Hornet or not; as they say on the Price is Right – “Come On Down.” We believe the Christmas season is the perfect time to come together as a community and celebrate life, BTW and each other. The money raised is for scholarships for deserving BTW youth.
You can BYOL, BYOF and we will provide setups. Casual Holiday attire is on the menu and tickets are just $20 advance - $25 at the Door. You can pick up tickets at the Greenwood Cultural Center every Thursday and Friday afternoon from 12 Noon – 3pm. You can also purchase tickets online at Zeffy.com – use the QR Code below with your phone.
By the way, the Hornet Christmas Party will be one of the last events to take place in the GCCenter, as we know it. The GCC will undergo renovations and a new face lift to present a brand new building by the end of 2026. Let’s GO! Our Christmas Party is the very last event in the GCC before the building undergoes renovation in January of ’26 - so be a part of history!!
