Including more than 40 works, this exhibition looks at private art collecting through history and the eyes of Tulsa collector George R. Kravis II. While Kravis’s design collection is nationally renowned, his fine art collection has rarely been exhibited. The selection of paintings, works on paper, sculpture, and furniture is accompanied by pairings of the collector’s comments and anecdotes about his collection with discussions on the collecting and the critical reception of modern and contemporary art. The Oklahoma State University Museum of Art is open Tuesday - Saturday, 11 am to 4 pm. Admission is always free.
