Public Radio 89.5

Nothing comes close to public radio.

Public Radio Tulsa and NPR are like nothing else.  When you listen, you hear balanced, fact-based journalism.  You hear programs that nourish your mind.  You experience “driveway moments,” those bits of bliss when you just can’t miss one second of that great story.

Independent journalism and intelligent entertainment this good are worthy of our support.

You turn to Public Radio Tulsa every day for news that delivers the facts.  Not alternative facts.  Not “blue” or “red” facts.  But in-depth, scrupulously-researched stories that give you the information you need to make up your own mind.

Facts matter.  And so does your support.

As you know, it’s been five years since new episodes of Car Talk have been produced, and the Best of Car Talk program ceases distribution this month. While there is no replacing our beloved Click and Clack, we will be moving an EQUALLY riotous program into the Saturday noon timeslot:  Wait, Wait…Don’t Tell Me

Tick tock! The doctor is in and she has issued a challenge.

You can make a bigger impact with your dollars.

Here's how the challenge works: this afternoon between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. if we receive $2,000 in pledges, Dr. Kathleen Heffron will donate $1,000 to Public Radio Tulsa.
