Isaac Could Brush Eastern Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Weather forecasters say the remnants of Tropical Storm Isaac could bring much-needed rain to drought-stricken eastern Oklahoma.

The National Hurricane Center on Monday showed the storm is expected to bring rain to the eastern one-third of the state starting Friday.

National Weather Service meteorologist Amy Jankowski in Tulsa said the storm could bring eight to 10 inches of rain to that part of the state. Jankowski said the storm could also just as easily change its track and miss the state entirely.
