A mobile home fire takes the life of a man in far east Tulsa. The blaze was reported about 8:30 this morning in a mobile home park near 2nd Street and 193rd East Avenue.

Neighbors in the Rolling Hills Trailer Park told fire fighters that they believed a man was inside the home. When firefighters went inside the home, they found the man’s body.  He had burns on his body, but most likely died of smoke inhalation.

Fire investigators say the blaze was in a bedroom of the home.

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — Fire marshals are investigating what caused a house fire that killed a man.

Firefighters responding to calls about 11 p.m. Thursday found the man in the hallway of the residence. Officials were waiting for the Oklahoma Medical Examiner's Office to release the man's name.

A police spokesman didn't immediately return a call on Saturday.

Family members say the man who lived there was disabled and wheelchair-bound. One of two sons who lived with the man had been gone less than an hour when the fire erupted.
