Tulsa, OK – TULSA, Okla. (AP) Police have identified a 9-year-old who was been found in some sand at a west Tulsa Park.

Officers say Hannah Marie Todd was discovered in a playground area at Penney Park about 1 p.m. Friday.

Investigators don't know whether Hannah's death was the result of an accident or foul play. Police Officer Leland Ashley says there were no obvious signs of trauma.

Ashley said police were told a shovel was usually around the sand box and children were often seen burying each other. He says witnesses told investigators Hannah was seen playing with other children in the park about 11 a.m.

Tulsa Public Schools officials confirmed she was a student at Mark Twain Elementary School. The school, which is on a continuous learning calendar, was on a break Friday.
