Cement, OK – 4 killed in head-on collision on Oklahoma highway

CEMENT, Okla. (AP) Authorities say four people were killed and three others were injured in a head-on collision that closed U.S. 277 in Caddo County for more than four hours.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 39-year-old Jimmie Mayall; 29-year-old Krissy Mayall; 16-year-old Anna Mayall of Cyril and 37-year-old Chickasha resident Vicky Meredith died in the accident about 1:30 p.m. Thursday near Cement.

Troopers say 3-year-old Chance Mayall was flown by medical helicopter to Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City, where he was in serious condition.

The report says Vicky Meredith and Brittany Meredith were riding in Andrew Benson's vehicle when he tried to pass another eastbound car and collided with a car driven by Jimmie Mayall.

Brittany Meredith was listed in serious condition and Benson was in good condition at an Oklahoma City hospital.
