Worker's Comp Fraud?

By AP

Oklahoma City, OK – Okla. AG files worker's compensation fraud charge

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) The Oklahoma Attorney General's Workers' Compensation Fraud Unit has filed fraud and conspiracy counts against an Oklahoma City woman.

Attorney General Scott Pruitt says charges were filed in Oklahoma County against 51-year-old Kathryn Boggs-Palmer.

A complaint says Boggs-Palmer filed a claim with the Workers' Compensation Court on July 13, 2005, for on-the-job injuries.

Last November, Boggs-Palmer sought continued medical treatment for multiple injuries and claims of severe pain stemming from the work-related accident that she said required her to walk with forearm crutches.

Officials say investigators filmed her moving heavy appliances, lifting large trash sacks, carrying multiple shopping bags and performing yard work.

A message left at a telephone listing for Boggs-Palmer wasn't immediately Wednesday night. Online court records don't indicate if she is represented by an attorney.
