HOBART, Okla. (AP) — The girlfriend of a radio personality in Atlus has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole in the man's shooting death.

The Altus Times reports that Sandra Woodard was sentenced in Kiowa County Wednesday in the death of 37-year-old Harley Moody. She had been found guilty of first-degree murder. According to authorities, Woodard called 911 and said that she accidentally shot her boyfriend.

Authorities say that when officers arrived at the couple's home, they found Moody bleeding heavily from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Moody was a disc jockey at KEYB Radio in Altus.
