The woman charged in the Oklahoma State University homecoming parade crash that killed four people wants her upcoming trial moved.
Attorneys for 26-year-old Adacia Chambers filed a motion for a change of venue Monday, saying an impartial jury cannot be found in Payne County because of pretrial publicity.
Chambers has pleaded not guilty to four counts of second-degree murder and 42 counts of assault and battery for the Oct. 24, 2015, crash in Stillwater.
Defense attorneys also want to suppress statements Chambers made to police after her arrest and ask that photos of the victims not be shown during her trial.
Prosecutors filed a motion asking that Chambers undergo a mental evaluation because her defense has indicated it plans to raise the question of mental illness or insanity.
