Terlton, OK – Body found in home burned in Oklahoma wildfire
TERLTON, Okla. (AP) Authorities say a body has been found in a home that was burned during a wildfire in Pawnee County.
The Sheriff's Office reports that the body was discovered early Thursday in Terlton.
Sheriff Mike Waters says family members reported a missing Wednesday afternoon. Officials are awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine the identity of the remains.
The sheriff says two other people were injured in the blaze, which damaged or destroyed at least 40 structures near Oklahoma Highway 48 earlier this week.
