This Week on Performance Oklahoma: The Brightmusic Chamber Ensemble

Since 2003, the Brightmusic Society of Oklahoma has offered Oklahoma audiences a regular season of beloved and diverse chamber music performances presented by an ensemble of musicians largely based in the Oklahoma City metro area along with special guest artists. On Tuesday, November 10th , the Society presented the second concert of its 13th season with a program celebrating chamber works for piano and strings. The concert, offered at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral in downtown Oklahoma City featured Carolina Reveille by Paul Schoenfield, Robert Schumann's Piano Quartet in E-flat Major, Op 47 and the Piano Quintet in A Major, Op 81 of Antonín Dvo?ák. Brightmusic Chamber Ensemble members heard in this performance include violinists Gregory Lee and Katrin Stamatis, violist Mark Neumann, cellist Jonathan Ruck and co-artistic director and pianist Amy I-Lin Cheng. We'll also hear a preview from an upcoming program featuring Gerard Schwarz and the Mozart Orchestra of New York from Armstrong Auditorium.

This show airs Saturday, December 12, 8pm, on Classical 88.7 HD1.
