The intersection of West 15th Street and South Denver Avenue will be closed starting Monday, June 11, for five days to continue work for replacement of a 6-inch waterline and segments of a 30-inch waterline. This work is in preparation for a street reconstruction project to begin at a later date.
Access will remain open for all businesses in the area. Then beginning Saturday, June 16, and for the next three to four weeks, traffic at 15th and Denver will be open to one lane in each direction, except that eastbound traffic will be restricted between Elwood and Denver avenues.
This project is in anticipation of the Improve Our Tulsa street rehabilitation project funded by the 2014 General Obligation Bond Issue. The project includes South Denver Avenue from West 13th Street to West 18th Street.
