Water Line Break Leaves North Tulsans Thirsty

An overnight water line break has causes big problems in north Tulsa. The line ruptured near Pine and North Harvard early this morning.

Water flooded the roadway and even got near some homes. Crews are working on the the problem, but water in the area could be off for some until tomorrow. Spokesman John Richardson says crews are trying to work around the broken line to restore water service to some, but those on the main 30-inch Harvard line will be without water until repairs are completed. The roadway between Pine and Easton was closed to motorists.

City officials estimate 60-to-70 customers are without water. Those who need water may visit a water truck located at 3333 East Newton Street.
