A strong cold front will continue moving through western Arkansas and far eastern Oklahoma this afternoon. Strong north to northwest winds behind the front will gust to near 40 miles an hour in some places. Some light freezing drizzle or light sleet will also be possible this afternoon, but any impacts will be minor. A narrow band of light snow may move across mainly northeast Oklahoma late this afternoon, with only minor accumulations if any. Very cold temperatures will continue to filter into the area overnight, yielding wind chill values of zero to minus 5 in parts of northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas by sunrise Friday morning.
