Noble, OK – Okla man killed by train identified

NOBLE, Okla. (AP) The state Medical Examiner's Office has identified a man who was killed when he was hit by a train in Noble.

Agency spokeswoman Cherokee Ballard said 29-year-old Robert Mitchell died from multiple injuries. Ballard says his death was ruled an accident.

Noble police say the accident happened about 10:30 p.m. Monday on the railroad tracks north of Cemetery Road. Officers don't know if Mitchell, a Noble resident, was standing or sitting on the tracks when he was hit.

He died at the scene.
